Between 1993 and 2005 I lectured on conservation at Bournemouth University. I was mainly involved with three courses :

All three were unusual because they involved considerable student practical work.
My mission, which did little to endear me to my masters, was to take the cleverness of academia, blend it with my own practical experience and fuse both into useful practical strategies for my students.
In consultancy, my aim is unchanged : not just to know the causes of conservation problems, but to be able to communicate their solutions.
